La free write

It was a dark and stormy night when I last went trick or treating at my old house I Euclid, Ohio. I was trick or treating with my dad, brother, best friend, and her dad. We would have had a 6th person who was my dad’s best friend who I called Uncle Billy even though he wasn’t my uncle. The only reason we didn’t have him with us is he died on October 1st, 2005. Halloween was and never will be the same. He basically did everything with us. On Halloween we would all meet at my house at 5:30 pm then at 6 o' clock we went trick or treating all around Euclid. We all got a great deal of candy. I got the most because I was the fastest and best trick or treating in my family. Now trick or treating isn’t as fun because I have no friends where I live. So I trick or treat with my brother. I leave at 6 o' clock still and get back at 7:45. It's easier to go with my brother because we bring our puppy Sandy with so she gets exercise. When I trick or treat I get lots of candy even though I don't wear a costume. After I'm done trick or treating I pass out candy for 15 minutes. Then I go in and split my candy with my brother because he went with me. We always fight because we both like everything in the bag. I end up getting the most though because I went up to every door for the candy. This year was different I had to pass out candy instead of trick or treating because my dad says that I'm to old to trick or treat. It was easy because it didn't take long.

My favorite fall activity is football and raking leaves. Football gives me something to watch. Raking leaves gives me exercise. I watch football during October through February. I rake leaves October through mid November. I feel great watching the Steelers win and the Browns lose. I feel great when I rake leaves. I rake leaves in the fall because it's easy when u have a riding mower and a grass catcher on the back to rake the leaves. It makes it so easy. Sometimes it takes hrs. to go on the riding mower. It still takes longer to rake leaves. I like the fall because I know that my birthday is close (November 3.). In the fall I trick or treat on Halloween. Fall is fun when the leaves fall to the ground. Fall is the time of year to do a lot of yard work before the snow comes and you can't do anything. I do a lot more in fall and summer than spring and winter. When fall comes you know that winter isn't very far away at all. Fall is the last time to do the best tings outside, because when winter come you can't do as much as you can when its warm out. While fall is here you should enjoy it. I also like fall because I know Christmas isn't very far away either. The main thing I do during fall is celebrate my birthday with family. The other reason I like fall this year is because I'm getting braces on October 23rd. I know that when I get them I won't like them but right now I'm excited. During fall I'll play with my dogs a lot more than usual. I know that during winter my dogs hate being outside for to long so they spend a lot of time outside during the fall getting exercise.
